today I'd like to talk about the importance of surrounding yourself with positive people. You see it took a village to put this bitch back together. Therapists as well as family and good friends. And as much asthey want to be understanding, they really can't understand the frustrations we face daily. So it becomes important for them to be encouraging and understanding. It will happen that you have a bad day full of obstacles and frustrations. Which for me will result of a melt down of some kind. If those around me don't see my frustrationsthat can push me further down the path to hell. I know all have good intentions but sometimes that's just not enough. I need the understanding. I have lost a dear long time friend as a result of an emotional outburst. So it is important for peope to realize that recovery won't always be pretty, but you need whatever support and understanding they can provide. And lets face it ,practically we just need help.So surround yourself with friends, try to explain as best you can what you're dealing with. And give them a little break. No one can really understand until they've been here.
